Critical Alerts

Critical Alerts are available for iPhones with iOS 12 or later.  This feature will allow the notification sound to override the silence switch on iPhones.  This is perfect for users who silence their iPhones at night but don't want to miss an eDispatches alert.

How to I enable critical alerts

Be sure that in your iOS settings you have enabled "Allow Critical Alerts".

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Select eDispatches
  4. Enable "Allow Critical Alerts"

Enabling Critical Alerts for Individual Tones

You can enable and disable Critical Alerts for individual tones from the eDispatches app.

Step 1

Select "More" from the bottom of the app and select "Settings"

Select "Alerts" from the top of the General Settings

Step 3

Select which alert you would like to modify, "Audio Alerts" or "CAD Alerts".

Step 4

Select the alert you would like to modify. You may have multiple tones or just one.

Step 5

Select "Options" to modify the alert's notifications.

Step 6

Enable or disable Critical Alerts.
