Android Push Alerts

Applies To: eDispatches Android App Users

Learn how to enable system notifications, receive push alerts on your lock screen, expand alert notifications, and log availability responses directly from the Android Notification Center.

Enabling Push Notifications

1. Open your device's Settings app.
2. Navigate to Notifications > eDispatches.
3. Ensure push notifications are toggled to ON to allow real-time alerts. 
   

Receiving Lock Screen Alerts

When an alert arrives, notification cards display on your device's lock screen. You can play audio alerts directly from the lock screen interface or unlock your device to jump straight into the eDispatches app.

Using the Android Notification Center

Expanding Alert Details

To view extended details on a lock screen or notification drawer alert, tap the down arrow icon on the right side of the notification banner to expand the player and action controls.

Responding from Notifications

Expanded notifications allow you to select and submit your availability response status instantly without opening the application.
