The Blackout setting allows users to specify a recurring time window during the day to silence push notifications for specific dispatch tones. During an active blackout window, the app will suppress alert notifications while keeping past calls accessible in your alert history.
Enabling & Configuring Blackout Settings
-
Access Settings: Tap More in the bottom menu bar of the app, then select Settings.
-
Select Alerts: Tap Alerts at the top of the General Settings menu.
-
Choose Alert Type: Select the alert channel you wish to modify—either Audio Alerts or CAD Alerts.
-
Select Specific Tone: Choose the specific department tone assignment you want to set a blackout for.
-
Open Options Menu: Tap Options to access notification rules for the selected tone.
-
Enable & Set Blackout Window: Toggle the Blackout Window switch to ON. Set your desired Start Time (when alerts become silenced) and End Time (when normal notifications resume).
