Applies To: eDispatches Station Display Board Users & Account Administrators
eDispatches Display Boards allow departments to stream real-time operational information—such as CAD details, member availability, active responses, and mapping—onto station monitors, dispatch centers, or briefing screens.
Supported Display Features
Station Display Boards can be customized to display the following data panels:
- Audio Alerts (with or without automatic audio playback)
- CAD Alerts (with full call details)
- Responder Statuses & Responses
- Member Availability
- Local Weather Conditions
- Live Weather Radar Maps
- Google Calendar Integration
- Interactive Maps with Hydrants & Points of Interest (POIs)
Hardware & System Requirements
- Display Screen: A monitor or television connected to a PC or Mac computer.
- Network: Active high-speed internet connection.
- Supported Browsers: Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (recommended).
Note: Smart TVs, streaming sticks, and built-in TV web browsers are unsupported and will not provide reliable performance.
Setting Up the Display Board
- Log into your administrative web portal and navigate to Account > Displays.
- Toggle the display feature switch to ON.
- Click New to generate a unique PIN number.
- Copy the unique display URL provided in the portal and open it in your station monitor's web browser.
- Enter the PIN created in Step 3 and click Log In.
Tip: Keep the browser window open continuously. The page refreshes automatically in real time as new dispatch data arrives.
Customizing Display Modes & Panel Layouts
Display Boards feature two customizable display modes:
- Normal Mode: Operates continuously during routine station operations when no active dispatch exists.
- Emergency Mode: Triggers automatically when an active alert is detected and remains active for the duration configured under Account > Response > Event Expires After.
Editing the Panel Layout
Click the Gear/Settings icon in the top right corner of the Display Board screen to enter layout edit mode.

Select Mode to Edit: Choose whether to modify Normal Mode or Emergency Mode.

Remove Panels: Click the X icon in the top header of any panel to remove it from the board.

Add Panels: Click the + icon to add a new module (Map, Audio, Response, Availability, CAD, Weather, Weather Map, or Calendar).

Reposition Panels: Click and drag the panel handle icon to move modules into open grid positions.

Resize Panels: Drag the bottom-right corner of any panel block to expand or shrink its dimensions.
