Requirements:

1. A display connected to a computer (the bigger the better in our opinion).
2. Internet connection
3. Internet browser, suggested Chrome or Firefox.

Smart TV's and other similar devices are not supported and will not provide satisfactory performance.

Setting up the Display Board

Step 1: Log into your eDispatches web portal.
Step 2: Select "Account".
Step 3: Select "Displays" tab.
Step 4: Select the on / off switch to enable or disable the Display feature.

PIN Number
You'll need to generate a PIN number in order to use the display board on a screen.

Step 5: Select "New" to generate a new PIN number.

Your PIN number will be displayed.

Step 6: Copy the unique url into your monitor web browser.

Step 7: You'll see a prompt to enter the PIN.  Use the PIN created earlier from Step 5 and  select "Log In".

Step 8: You can leave this webpage open at all times as the page will automatically update every few seconds to update new data that arrives.

Customizing Modes

There are two types of modes: Normal and Emergency. Each mode can be customized for your department's needs. 

Normal Mode

The Normal mode will operate when there is no current alert.

Emergency Mode

The Emergency mode will operate during a current alert. You can customize each mode to display in various sizes and positions.

NOTE: Emergency mode will displayed for the same time period that your "Response Event Time" is currently configured.  This setting is located in the portal: Account > Response> Event Expires After.

To begin customizing select the icon in the top right side of the display boards.

Edit Mode

You can select to edit the Normal or Emergency mode from here.

Close Panels

You can select the X icon in the top of any panel to close them.

Adding a panels

You can select the + icon to add a new panel.

You can select from a list of available panels.

• Weather Map
• Calendar

Moving a panel

You can select the drag icon to move a new panel into a blank panel.

Resizing a panel

You can drag a panel size from the bottom right to make panels larger or smaller.
