Adding Hydrants Using a File Upload

Our eDispatches Team will has the ability to import your Hydrant location data.  It is possible, at a later date, Points of Interest data may have the same option.  To have your existing hydrant locations automatically uploaded, please follow these instructions:

• Request a hydrant import template from eDispatches Technical Support or download it directly from the bottom of this article
• Your water department or designated hydrant maintenance staff can export your hydrant data and format it so that it fits our template
• Send it to eDispatches Technical Support, we will then evaluate it for proper format and upload the hydrant data so it appears in your subscriber map

Not all departments will have access to the uploading of data due to local capabilities and data type.   We have made it as easy as possible for you to manually place hydrants on the map via manual entry or War Driving Mode.
