Receive push alerts

Receive push notifications directly on your Android device.  Notifications will appear on your locked screen.  You can play alerts or view the CAD notification directly from the locked screen. You may also unlock your phone to open directly into the eDispatches app.  To learn more about notifications on your Android device and setting up auto playback alerts see Android Push Alerts

Listen to current alerts

After receiving a push alert your app will open to a media player view that will begin to play the most recent alert.  Current responses are available and visual responses will display as people make a response selection.

Audio Alert Mapping Assist

Select the magnifying glass in the top right of the screen.  Type your address.  As you type the address, based on your location, the address likely will appear for selection.

Receive detailed CAD messages

Receive CAD messages via our Enhanced CAD Relay option directly in the app.  Review all the details directly from one screen.

CAD Alert Mapping

The address of the incident will be identified automatically on the map.  Tap that arrow and it will provide driving directions to the scene from your current location.

Availability

Select your availability and view which members are available, maybe available or unavailable prior to calls occurring.  This is an excellent forecast tool to let you know who is and isn't available to report.

Quickly turn alerts on or off 

A simple toggle will activate or deactivate alert notifications.  Members who are on multiple departments that utilize eDispatches will be able to toggle all of their departments on or off.

Alerts screen

The Alerts screen is a multi-function screen for your most recent alerts.  New and older alerts can be played-back from this screen as well.  Most recent alerts will appear at the top and cascade downwards to older alerts.  You have the ability to respond and listen to your streaming feeds from the Alerts screen.  Now you can listen or view up to 100 previous alerts going as far back as 90 days.

Messaging

Receive and send messages.  Users with appropriate permissions can send Priority Text Messages.  All members will have access to a message history which can be viewed from this screen.  To send a message to the entire account, group or individual(s), select the + sign.

Personalized settings

Personalize and modify your notification settings.

• Ringtone
  • Select the alert sound when a push notification occurs
• Tone Settings
  • Manage your assigned tone(s)
    • Enable or disable tone
    • Activate Pre-Alert
    • Manage Blackout Settings for each tone
    • Manage how you receive alerts for each tone by using app, text or phone call
• Auto Playback
  • Permits audio to sound without user interaction when a push alert arrives
• Vibrate on Alert
  • Permits device to vibrate when a push notification arrives
• Volume Override
  • Allows playback audio to be a different setting than the devices native volume setting
