If you have not yet completed your initial setup when downloading the eDispatches app, please follow these steps.
Please verify you are running the latest iOS version on your iOS device to assure all features work properly.
Receive push alertsReceive push notifications directly on your iOS device. Swiping or tapping the notification will open the eDispatches app and play the most recent call or CAD alert. |
Listen to current alertsAfter receiving a push alert, your app will open to your media player view that will begin to play the most recent alert. Current responses are available and visual responses will display as people make a response selection. Audio Alert MappingSelect the magnifying glass in the top right of the screen. Type your address. As you type the address, based on your location, the address likely will appear for selection. |
Receive detailed CAD messagesReceive CAD messages via our Enhanced CAD Relay option directly in the app. Review all the call details directly on one screen. CAD Alert MappingThe address of the incident will be identified automatically on the map. Tap that arrow and it will provide driving directions to the scene from your current location. |
AvailabilitySelect your availability and view which members are available, maybe available or unavailable prior to calls occurring. This is an excellent forecast tool to let you know who is and isn't available to report. Quickly toggle all alerts on or offA simple toggle will activate or deactivate alert notifications. Members who are on multiple departments that utilize eDispatches will be able to toggle all of their departments on or off. |
Alerts screen
The Alerts screen is a multi-function screen for your most recent alerts. New and old alerts can be played-back from this screen. The most recent alerts will appear at the top and cascade down to older alerts. You now have the ability to respond and listen to your streaming feed from the Alerts screen. Now you can listen or view up to 100 previous alerts going as far back as 90 days. |
Messaging
Receive and send messages. Users with appropriate permissions can send Priority Text Messages. All members will have access to a message history which can be viewed from this screen. To send a message to the entire account, group or individual(s), select the + sign. |
