The eDispatches iPhone application requires an authorization code. This authorization code is a security feature that is required by iOS devices to authenticate the phone number on the device. Currently our iPhone app is the only application that requires an authorization code, Android users do not required an authorization code to use the app.
How do get your authorization code:
Authorization codes are only available for eDispatches subscribers. Your account administrator can access your authorization code from the Recipients page.
The authorization code is also available under the "Advanced Settings" for each recipient.
If you do not have access to the eDispatches portal, you can have the authorization code sent to your phone as a text message. Note: If your phone number is not yet entered into the eDispatches account or entered incorrectly you will not receive a text message.
Navigate to the following page and enter your phone number, you will shortly receive a text message with your 4 digit authorization code:
If you already have the eDispatches application installed on your iPhone you can also have your authorization code sent to your phone as a text message from the application. Upon launching the application for the first time, select "Forgot Code" and enter your phone number, you will shortly receive a text message with your 4 digital authorization code.
