Audio Quality Issues

Why does my audio sound poor?

Clients that use our audio dispatching component may encounter poor audio in certain situations.  This can be caused and easily corrected by the client.  It is important to follow the steps in this order:

Step 1: If you are using an eDispatches supplied radio receiver/scanner, it is imperative that the volume level be set to between the 9-10 o'clock position if you imagined it as a clock face.  This will make sure the proper audio level is going into our detecting computer.  For clients that supply their own audio feed; please start with a minimal amount of volume/audio and slightly tweak it up until the sound is acceptable.  If this solves the issue, you are done.  If this does not solve the issue, please move to step 2.
