Android app not alerting

Sometimes after updating or making changes to the eDispatches account or on the Android device the Android device the application requires to register again with our GCM (Google Cloud Messaging).  We suggest trying to uninstall and reinstall using the following steps to get the customer's Android app working again.


  1. Go to your device's Settings menu > Apps or Application manager (this may differ depending on your device).

  2. Touch the eDispatches app to uninstall.

  3. Touch Uninstall.


  1. Swipe left and right until you find the Google Play Store icon.

  2. Tap the magnifying glass in the top-right, type in "eDispatches" without the quotes.

  3. Tap the three dots on the right side of the eDispatches app to display the install entry.

  4. Tap install.

  5. Once the app has finished downloading launch the eDispatches application.
